Do you have a 19ft?! Thanks for the replyI didn't go with the tower mirror. After reading this thread https://jetboaters.net/threads/top-down-rear-view-mirror.18609/ I purchased the CIPA 01609 180 Degree Mirror
Couldn't be happier. It is awesome. Excellent field of view, looks great and with a flip of the bottom lever folds down for mooring cover installation.
Wasn't sure if you were interested only in a tower mirror.
That's awesome. What do you do when trailering?I recently traded someone here for a Big Air mirror for my 2019 AR195. I wanted something more "out of the way" so I tried the tower mounted option. I found the original mount arm was a bit too short for my preference since it positioned the mirror more vertically over my head instead of forward. It worked OK but wasn't super comfortable to use.
I went to a local machine shop and had an extension made that fits between the tower mount and the mirror mount. It's about a 6-7" extension tube with male/female M12 threads. It's perfect now! Mirror is just where I want it. The best part is the guy only charged me a case of beer to make it.
Have a link to that mirror by any chance? I want to copy your setupI recently traded someone here for a Big Air mirror for my 2019 AR195.
