What is this and is it important?

went to do my oil change and while warming up my starboard engine I noticed this hanging out of the hole in the picture. I think it makes a deals just inside but not sure if it missing will create and issue. 2017 AR210

It's just excess sealant from the exhaust outlet. Usually comes off of the exhaust second or third time a boat is on the water. No worries, pull it off.
Your boat is now deflowered.
