IMG_4522.jpg IMG_4523.jpg The round piece of silicone was partially out of the hole. I'm not sure what that is but I know you guys do. Is this a problem that the silicone came out and where did it come from?
 
It's excessive sealant from Yamaha for the exhaust flap. Very common occurrence but not an issue.

Yep. What he said. The opening in your second pic is the exhaust output and the silicone is simply excess sealant when the factory assembled the boat. ;)
 
@Geoff Cooper this is what I was talking about in the other topic... Yamaha cheaped out and didn't use the ring, just gobs of silicone that fall of.
