Hey Guys, I'm going to pick up my new SX195 on Monday at a dealer that is 3.5 hours away. I want to make sure I get the right sized drop and right sized ball so that my trip home is as safe as possible. My tow vehicle is a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe SE (not Sport), and the trailer is a galvanized Shorelandr model # YAV30BSW. Any input is much appreciated. Thank you!

Pretty sure it is a 2" ball. Doubt you will need a drop hitch.

First of all, Congratz! Just in time for Summer.
You may in fact need a raised slide depending on where the ball sits when mounted on your Santa Fe. Usually around 17-21" off the ground is a VERY general measurement for the bottom of the coupler to have a fairly level trailer. Measure to the top of your mounted ball at about 19"23" off the ground before leaving and you should be in the ball park. It will at least have you close enough to bring her home and adjust from there.

Is it a 2" ball? I might be picking up an AR192 soon...

Picking up my 2013 242 limited s in two weeks! I'm thinking 2" as well?

Ball size (for towing) is based on towing gross weight. All these boat trailers will use a 2” ball. You won’t see 2.5” until you add a few thousand pounds to the load. Just make sure you have the right drop on the hitch to keep the trailer level while towing. Especially true for a dual axle trailer.
