I love to constantly tinker and make upgrades to things. I was considering upgrading to a newer boat this fall but decided to hold off for another year or 2 and just do some improvements to my 2009 AR230 since it still runs great. What should I do that I haven't yet or what should be replaced that you think would be a great upgrade?

When I bought the boat it already had:
  • perfect pass
  • FatSacs in the floor and rear seats
  • Metal Scupper
I have done so far:
  • Seadek end to end
  • Replaced pump bearings and filled with Oil instead of grease
  • Jetboatpilot TVW's
  • Trulocks on the plugs
  • Dual batteries and onboard dual bank charger
  • stereo upgrades
    • Rockford Fosgate M282-Wake Tower speakers
    • Rockford Fosgate R400-4D Amp
    • Pol DB 651 speakers inside
    • Clarion M303 receiver and remote
    • Clarion XC2110 Mono channel amp and Bazooka MBT1014 sub
  • Replaced the bilge pump
  • replaced the horn
I have a couple of small things I need to do this fall. Mainly, have a small leak I need to find (guessing it is a through hull fitting somewhere that has lost its silicone sealent) and a couple of seats that need some work to fix some tearing.

What else would you do?

I would add a 2nd bilge pump and a high water alarm,

if you enjoy surfing I would add a bag for the swim deck, if I were really ambitious I would plumb in a hard line so that I just had to attach a hose to the hull and the bag and flip a switch,

.

I like that idea of a plumbed line for a swim deck bag, i struggle to get a good wave right now with the bags inside.

we've had a couple members plumb an air line for tubes also, I've found filling the gantlin swimdeck bag with air first (takes 2 min.) really makes the water fill easier.

if you search swatski's set up he had a very nice plumbed in system,

.

i'm not sure with the TVW about the operation but for the wedge you really have to get the back swimdeck level or below water to get a really good wave,

.

I had the stainless scupper installed on my new (to me) 2015 Limited S before I took delivery. Gonna do the SeaDek interior when the group buy happens and stereo system upgrade in the spring.

I'd add a couple of dual USB chargers.....there are never enough ports on my boat. I'm thinking of adding one up in the bow too.

Bilge alarm, fume detector.

Then there are all the things you need to do so you can go to Bimini! Long list there!

You can always browse my modification list embedded in my Signature under 242X

Sound deadening in the engine bay, rear bilge and fuel tank cover areas. Replace rusted hose clamps, pull pumps and check impellers, Check tower, cleats and tie down fastest to make sure everything is good n tight still.

I’m doing trim tabs this fall, not sure if you need them. Replacing the Seadek as well when the group buy becomes available.

I was considering trim tabs, we boat on a decent sized lake, (Lake Cumberland) and it can get rough in spots when it is busy.
