knowing that we use the bow 100% of the time and I want to make sure the clean out port is accessible, is there anyone with experience stowing a water lily (or other mat) on the swim platform?

Lol, looks like your the only one doing this... You should be able to tie it to the lower portion some how. Can you take a picture of it back there so we can see how it looks.

This is an extremely easy way to secure it to the swim platform. It’s quick and easy to remove too.

Thanks. Now I’m looking for a 10x6 mat. Light weight and allows for a little room on each side of the swim deck to hop in the drink. One thing for my use though is I’d have to go wide on the strap to the pop out cleats. My clean out port opens from the platform seat above the swim deck.

Scratch my last comment. I see you have a 2017 so I’m assuming you too have the topside clean out port.

Have you considered inflatable mats? That way you can stow them easily when not in use and much easier to transport. A few members on here have them and say they do great for an inflatable.

I looked at a few inflatables but 1) they were equally as expensive and 2) the weight and size of the box leads me to believe that once unfolded and inflated it will never store in the same size box again. And then there is 3) our dog will also likely be on it and I wouldn’t want to take a chance of him popping it.

I bought two infatible planks last year, 6’x10’ I think, $50 each at the time, non sale price is closer to $100. No matter what it’s going to be far smaller than any thick rubber / foam mat alternative. My wife and I stood on it and our dog jumped all over it without experiencing any issues. I have only used one once so far but it’s been great. It would be tough to fold back to its original delivery size but it folds up easily and fits almost flat in my ski locker. If I had a house on the water / Permanent swimming hole I’d want a rubber/ foam mat, but since I have to trailer it and the boats everywhere I boat inflatable is the way to go.

I store my 6x15 matt between the front seats on the floor. That thing is huge, but I found it on the side of the interstate so the price was right so I can put up with it.

I think most people on here with the inflatables just stow them in their ski locker. The box is came in likely gets tossed in the recycle bin or garbage lol. I couldn't imagine trying to put my tube back in its original box since it seemed vacuumed in there :D

I think I've seen people have their pets and stuff on the inflatables. It's called the WOW float pad or something like that so do a search and see what you think of it. I don't think it's made with real thin material like a regular pool float if that is what you're thinking.

Thanks all. I got a deal on an 6x15 aqua lily. My plan is to secure it to the swim platform anchored to the cleats, tower, tube tow hook or any combination of two when underway. While trailering I’ll strap it down inside the boat so I both keep it and keep those following me safer.

I think my tube weighs like 60 lbs theres no way it was going back in its original box. I'd go inflatable and store it in either the ski locker or port side rear seat locker. It's where we store are gigantic towable and the ball rope towable thing, along with all the life jackets i have which is like 10.

Here is my swim deck solution. Picked up a this set of bungee lines https://www.skogakust.com/products/bungee-dock-lines-2-pack and used the 6ft line to secure the lily pad to the rear cleats. Fits snug and feels secure and I still have access to the clean out port. Off to the lake in a bit.

That is how I strap mine down with a 6ft bungie and noodles over them on the edges not to pinch to tight on the foam pad

Works pretty good

Make sure that bungie floats or you will want to slide a noodle over t before it sinks!
I have two one foot sections of foam noodle over mine
