Which boat to take?

lol. You could be undercover, just need the flag, lights and siren!

It's strange when I'm on my own boat: No one slows down or gets out of my way. Took a little bit to get used to!

Is that at the CG station on Emerald Isle? I spend a week every summer at a house that we rent on the end of the island right on the Coast Guard Channel. One of my highlights is when the CG boat scrambles out of the base and flies past our dock.

Yes, it's Emerald Isle. I love it, unfortunately the job only last 4 years, and I only have 3 left...

Been looking for you on the weekends. We had 4 Yammies at our sandbar this past weekend. I have seen no less than 10 or so this year so far.

I've seen a bunch too. We've been out just about every weekend at our little sandbar; must have just missed you.

No choice, take the big boat someone else is paying for the fuel! :)

+2, didn't even think of the storm heading your way. Be safe!

Thanks all! For us, Arthur really wasn't much more than a bad thunderstorm. Only lost a couple of shingles off the station roof.

Which boat has the best wake? That's the one I'd take!! ;)

Let's hope Arthur is the biggest one we have to deal with this year! Glad you came through ok, and hope the rest of our East Coast brothers come through unscathed as well!

Damn, that CG boat is bad ass!!!
