Who wants Swim Platform Table Mount Covers ?

So, I was informed by my dealer that Mother Yamaha in their infinite wisdom is refusing to change out the table mounts that cause the burning mats. Instead, they will replace the swim deck mats if damaged, as long as the boat is under warranty. I have already had the mat replaced by the dealer from last seasons damage. However, while that might work for STOCK mats I just installed my Sea-Dek mats and don't want to wind up with any burn marks they will not likely repair.

Now Will over @JetBoatPilot was toying with the idea of offering a table mount cover.

But this requires enough demand for him to spend his time having these made up. This is where YOU all come in. For anyone with these mounts that do NOT want their mats burned up please profess your interest here so Will can see it will be worth his while to once again, help do for us what Yamaha will not.

Reflection of sunlight off the polished mount, has been known to burn up the swim platform mats.

No, hence the post. . . . I spoke to Will and he asked me to gauge interest. He can make them up if demand is enough.

But, if I did have a boat with that mount, I absolutely would buy a cover from JBP for it.

Didn't somebody confirm that sanding the metal (brushed finish) cures the problem?

Looks like this if the stern is pointed to the south... The arcs in the mat are from the sun crossing the sky.

Yeah, I used painters tape so it doesn't leave any residue when I pull it off. In all reality, I never even use the damn thing. It's more of a hindrance than anything else.

Yes it would have a lanyard and we would build these if we hit 10. I think I would need to charge $39.95 to make them make sense.
