It's been a busy wet spring so I didn't have a chance to take the boat out. Tuesday was a nice hot day so we decided to go boating. Opened the garage, unhooked the battery conditioner, and test started her up. Started right up. Towed it to ramp, I dropped it in with my wife at the helm, and she pulled away no issue. We spent a great day boating using my $2 gas from last year. This boring story is why I bought a yamaha.

Last fall I pulled it out of the water, blew the water out while inclined and changed the oil at the launch while it's hot. Then I topped it off with no alcohol gas, put it to bed for the winter and hooked up a battery conditioner. No muss, no fuss. Sometime thus summer I will change the plugs and one shot of lube to the bearing. I may be missing a step or two in my description but you get the point

Knock on wood, working on my fourth season and it's never seen the dealer.

My 1999 searay 180 with carburetor took much more work especially in the fall.

Our 2020 195S has been a blessing as well coming from our previous Glastron i/o. The swim deck is what really catches our hearts. Problem now..... We are considering trading in/selling to get the 255fsh ?

I change the plugs and oil, lube bearings, charger stays plugged in all the time. Give a good cleaning and off we go. 15th season.

I have friends with Axis wake boat and Searay. Theirs are backed up at their mechanic/storage getting stuff fixed and De-winterized.

We love our 195S. Starting our 2nd season and it is easy to tow, maintenance is super easy, and we don’t have a prop to worry about. We have run through the Keys, Lake Lanier, Lake Burton, Lake Allatoona, Lake Oconee, Lake Hartwell, and even the Banana River to see a SpaceX Falcon 9 launch.

As the boys get more into tow sports we may go to one of the bigger X series, but right now, the little 195 is all we need and then some.
