I have a 2015 212x with the black windshield frame. There is some serious bubbling on the inside of the frame on both the pass and drivers side towards the stern of the boat. Has anyone had this issue? Mama Yamaha says out of warranty of course. Not sure I want to try and remove the frame and glass. Any ideas?

I could be wrong but I thought the frame was extruded aluminum. I think mine is powder coated too. I have never seen power coat bubble but I have seen paint bubble on aluminum when the bond gets compromised. Perhaps water likes to collect there and yours is painted?

It looks powder coated to me. I haven't seen this before either. The bubbling is on the side not bottom of the frame so water collecting isn't the problem. Maybe just a bad powder coating job. Going to pull the cover and try and get a few pics as soon as I can. Thanks....

I'm having the same issue. My window frame is painted silver.
