Guest, we are pleased to announce that Hydrophase Ridesteady is offering an extra $100 off for JETBOATERS.NET members on any Ridesteady for Yamaha Speed Control system purchased through March 7th, 2025. Ridesteady is a speed control system (“cruise control”) that uses GPS satellites or engine RPM to keep your boat at the set speed you choose. On twin engine boats, it will also automatically synchronize your engines.
I'm surprised that a 2017 boat has this part broken already. I would think this would be covered under warranty....??? At least I would tell my dealer that...

Yeah... a bit annoying. Add in the rear handle breaking two weeks ago doesn't help the cause. I am sure it would be replaced under warranty but if I snag both pieces for under $20... it's cheaper than towing the boat up to them.

I'd call them and tell them what is broken and ask if they could mail you the strap if you send them a photo of the broken one.....can't hurt to ask....
Fully agree. I used this approach several times, including with a speaker. Just brought the dead one back to the dealer and they handed me a new one. Much easier than dragging the boat out to them...
