While winterizing my 2014 Yamaha SX192, I was spraying the fogger down the air intake pipe and the small plastic nozzle (not the straw) fell off the can and went down the pipe. After this occurring, I quickly shut-down the motor and removed the hose fully. The spray nozzle was no where to be found. It seemed to go through the impeller of the supercharger.

I called my dealer and they stated it may of may not be an issue but, they would not look at it because they feel its a liability. Where do I go from here and is this a serious issue? I am not a mechanic.

Glad to have you on board, sorry we had to meet under these circumstances,

maybe update your profile page with your location so we know where your at,

update a phone or schematic with part number of hose so there is no confusion about what you removed,

Did you actually see the nozzle go into the pipe? just asking because it easy to blink and have something as small as a nozzle make it down to the engine floor and get overlooked, if there's any chance you might have blinked, triple check the floor,

I did check the area when it happened and found nothing. Due to my work schedule I will not be able to look at it again until Sunday morning. The boat sounded fine after the incident when I started it back up. Would the impeller chop it up? The impeller looked fine and nothing was stuck in it.

Thank you for your quick response and I will update my information.

The air intake hose (part number F3E-U72M2-01-00) it runs from the air cleaner assembly to the supper charger assembly. This is shown on yamahapartshouse.com
