Wow. That is surprising! Good luck. 4k more than what I paid for my 2010 ls with almost the identical stereo mods amongst other mods. And min had 200 hours and a potential port engine oil cooler that still may need replaced.
$40k does not sound out of line to start negotiating. The prices have been creeping up. It is almost to the point with the financing that it is cheaper to buy new if you can find the boat you want.
I have to say I am not unhappy with my decision to buy this boat. I am annoyed by the oil cooler issues at the moment but those will be behind me soon whether Yamaha does the right thing or I fix it myself.
