I am buying a FSH 210 Sport from someone who has an extended warranty. The dealer we tried going through is requiring a 2 hour inspection at $169/hr...has anyone had any experience with transferring a warranty &/or have any better options/ideas?

I had to do the same thing and pay close to the same amount. I think they have pull codes and do an inspection. Congrats on the boat!

That is normal unless of course you buy the used boat from the dealer directly with Y.E.S since they have already inspected it

I'm pretty sure a dealer has to process the transfer paperwork for you so I think the only better option/idea would be to discuss with another dealer and see if they charge less.

You could see if the seller will split the cost with you since it has to be done as part of the sale in order for the warranty to transfer, but it's not exactly a buyer's market so they may tell you heck no.

I did exactly that...found a dealer that charges $120 for the inspection. Better that than $350+. Thanks for the comments
