Is it just me or is the back seat rest terribly uncomfortable ? That would be the 2 little jump seats That is one of my biggest draw backs on the boat. I am in the market for a center console and would like to try a Jet Boat. Of course with out going to an aluminum boat my only real options are the Yamaha 210 FSH and the Scarab 255 There are things I really like about both boats and I am fortunate enough that the price will not be the deciding factor.

You are correct complete garbage. They never should have gotten away from the original jump seats in the 190.

I have a 18 FSH 21 I stand or lean I can't sit on a boat. The clean out ports for when you vacuum up stuff are the best on the Yamaha. And they just run, they are a Yamaha. I think you need a little support for your back so you don't fall out but it is not a lounge chair on a 21' boat.

I looked at a couple of the 2018 in pictures and was shocked that they had no back rests but the answer to that in the 2019's are vey uncomfortable

I just removed the jump cushions. I strictly fish on my boat and more than 4 people is too many. There is plenty of seating without them.

Would you be willing to sell the back rests and slot mounts? The fsh 210 base doesn’t come with them. About to upgrade my 190 to the 210. I’m sure when you remove the 4 screws there will be holes there.. if you’re able to maybe find some grommet plugs to fill the holes? Let me know! I’d def purchase them!

2018 model does not have them.

The back seats in the scarab that rock one way or the other based on where you're sitting, and lay flat for sunning, are pretty sweet. If you're making that a priority in the upgrade I'd definitely recommend it.
