I started cutting my grass this morning as usually on the weekends. I mowed around my new 212LS and heard a loud scrape. Looked back on the corner of my eye and noticed my anti roll bar on my ZTR. Immediately I screamed ‘sssshhhtttt’. I felt sick to my stomach and also felt like a fool at the same time. Nevertheless, I will be trying some gelcoat repairs over the next several weeks. I just wanted to share my stupidity. UGH!!!

Here are photos of the damage.

I say finish the grass and load the family up and go boating. You won't even think of it an hour after you are on the water.

I just test rode one of these today and have always wondered why people leave the ROPS folded. Would you have done more damage, the same, or less without the ROPS folded?

I’ve clipped my boat trailer tail light a couple of times with my zero turn so don’t feel bad!

With the ROPS up, it would have affected a larger area but probably wouldn’t have such a deep gash.

At least you cant blame anyone but yourself ,even though it sucks.
If my wife did that, there would be grounds for divorce
