A little bit about me. My name is Ariel I'm the Technical Specialist at Lauderdale Speedometer and spend a lot of time studying canbus and figuring out ways to adapt new tools. I've been getting a lot of calls about these gauges that have no alternative solutions in terms of a plug and play solution.
I'm looking for a Jetboat in the local area of Fort Lauderdale, I want to plug in to the computer onboard and see if perhaps there is some useable data I can convert to NMEA2000. I've seen other posts of converting the engine from Analog to Digital for instance, but I'd like to tackle the problem hands on. The Yamaha Proprietary data which is a massive thorn in everyone's side. This isn't going to go cost anyone anything this is entirely to help the community. Willing to volunteer sometime in to it. Unless someone does have a gateway on here already? Please point me in that direction.
Thank for anyone reading this and replying your time is appreciated.
