I have a 2010 Yamaha SX240 and the custom boat cover that came with it. It had a few minor tears and was slightly brittle. A couple months ago, I towed the boat with the cover on and it ripped completely down the middle. These covers say and appear to be made to tow. Has anyone had any issues towing with their cover on? I just bought a brand new one from eBay and don't want the same problem.

First of all :Welcome:

St. Louis has a large showing of people here so hopefully we will catch up on the river some day. IF your cover/boat was outside for the past 7 years I would say that you got your moneys worth out of the cover. People usually get 2-7 years out of the Yamaha mooring cover.

BTW are you going to the poker run up at LOTO this weekend?

Thanks for the input. I will not be attending unfortunately. Good to hear from some river people.
