Hi all,

I am looking for a Yamaha boat cover for a 2008 AR230. I would really like a waterproof cover being that my boat is outside. Our previous Yamaha cover got torn to shreds in some recent winds. Any suggestions, material preference or websites would be much appreciated! Thank you.

yamahasportsplaza or partspak

the newer covers (they changed about 2 years ago but no way to know what you're ordering) is made of a heavier more durable fabric,

My 2007 covers lasted about 2-3 years in Texas sun before replacing, the most recent cover is of the newer material and still seems to be holding up well after 2 years.

and glad to have you on board, update your profile with your location so we know where you're at and be sure to look at the link in my signature line to learn about known issues with your vintage boat, especially the scupper valve,

Thank you Scott for the recommendations. I spent the evening looking through the known issues for our boat. I think I will be looking into that scupper valve this week! I updated my profile. Glad to be aboard this forum.

Trailerable boat cover of icover, I needed a boat cover that was water proof, but wasn't sure this was it. After about a month or so I can attest that this cover is indeed water proof. My old (new) canvas cover was worthless when it came to keeping my boat dry. It's so nice to pull the cover off and have a nice dry boat! It will be interesting to see how long it holds up.So far, I an extremely satisfied.

does the cover have any vents in the cover that help with ventilation?
