ok so these are sold as mooring covers I get it. Do they hold up to trailering?

Many on here trailer with them on including me. There are varying views as to whether you should use the poles while doing that though.

I trailer with mine attached - while using the anti-pooling pole system.

Always use mine to trailer. Safest way I think. Dealer told me not to ever trailer over 50 mph without cover on it. With the poles, I don't think it's needed. Once coming back from a long trip we ran into heavy rain without the poles on there and she shed water like a charm. No pooling as when moving at moderate speed, it contours tight to the hull.

I use mine for trailering with the poles and it works great. After three seasons it' still in great shape.

I use for trailering but NOT with the anti pooling poles. I think the newer black covers are better quality fabric.

pool noodles on top of the windshield.

sharp edges or eye hooks will cut the cover!

We have the black one and trailer in the summer most weekends 74 miles one way and then back 74.. The cover has worked flawless. Like @blacksapphirez said we cut noodles to fit windshield and leave a inner tube blown up in the bow.. Never use the poles as the cover sucks down perfect in bow with tube and the rear seems to be fine..

So I'm jealous. My grey boat cover didn't come with the rubber for the cleats. I see most members here have black inserts for their cleats with covers? The dealer put my own before I picked it up so not sure if they lost it or not, but wondering why do I not have one? Should I? I haven't seen any other member with grey cover so not sure if those are standard with the grey covers not?
