I bought a 1997 Yamaha exciter 220 last year ran it for the summer. When I pulled it out of storage it wouldn’t start the normal way. I’ve always turned both ignitions on and then cranked one motor at a time. Now it won’t crank one motor at a time I have to hold both keys and crank both motors at the same time. Once one motor starts the other stops cranking. I then have to turn it off and crank both again until I get lucky and they both start at the same time.
Any ideas on what could cause this. everything else works fine. I thinking a corroded wire but I don’t know where to start.
