Any suggestions: 2019 FX HO Cruiser.

Went to start jet ski and “click” and connect screen goes dark. I assumed battery was dead so took it out to charge. Before charging it read 12.6V. I charged it anyway until fully charged. Put it back in and still nothing. No corrosion on terminals or cables. Weirdly, starting shaking cables (mainly to see if they ran to a relay or solenoid that maybe went bad). Didn’t see anything obvious (in terms of loose connections etc)

Randomly I tried to start again and it fired up. Let sit for a min and started up a second time.

Any ideas of what could cause this? Now I fear I’ll get out somewhere and have an issue. Is there a relay or something that may be going bad potentially? Maybe battery issue even though fully charged?

Appreciate any suggestions.

Make sure all cables are clean and tight................I had the battery main switch fail one time ...................turned it on and nothing no power to boat. Cycled it off and back on and everything worked fine.......a little corrosion on the switch possibly........ never had a problem since.

A click usually means the starter solenoid tried to engage but since the connect lost power that usually means the loss of a ground wire/cable. Ground wire is the only cable that will take out both at the same time.
