Note - Boats/cars at Insurance Auto Auctions (IAA) do NOT require a dealer license. You can actually find an IAA location near you and go to the auction and bid, or you can bid online in some cases. Source - I used to work for KAR Auction Services, who owned IAA :)

The last copart link (494) for the 2014 ar190. How much would something like that go for typically? I need a tower and wouldn’t mind some spare parts for the future.

Is there anyway we can get more details on these, like if they run?

Type “copart” into a YouTube search, there are a lot of videos by amateurs and pros that flip cars and boats they get from copart. You can get a nice ride and/or make a couple bucks but if you go in blind you can lose your ass. If you are only going to do one deal and don’t have a brokers license the deposit is $400 and the fee is another $400. This is before the auction fees which are differentiated buy your method of payment. There are codes written on the vehicle which tell you if the car runs, turns over, etc. if you want to see the vehicle in person you can walk the yard but there is a fee ($75 i think) to do so. Some offices are accused of selective policy enforcement when it comes to whether a vehicle has a reserve or not. I learned all of this when I saw a copart place near me auctioning off a 2016 fzr waverunner, the bid at the time was $750. I figured my minimum spend would be $1,500 and I wasn’t willing to spend that much considering the only pics I saw of it had the engine sitting on the ground next to the hull. I almost forgot, copart wants the vehicle taken away within 24 hours, the buyer is responsible to get it out and has to bring a trailer if the boat does not come with one. I think there is also a small fee if copart has to move the boat off the ground and onto a trailer.

I bought all of these items off Copart... my favorite is the 2017 Shelby GT350 with only 5600 miles...A7827C68-3BFB-4BA3-A2DA-F2C2B5EFD17F.jpeg11616326-30C2-4F3D-A822-60EEBEBF51AB.jpeg10305EF6-F13A-475F-8FBB-291658BCD965.jpegCBC209E2-73DF-4DEE-BC6E-69CE2C1007F3.jpegC8956533-19E5-42F5-A945-11CC41BA5187.jpegC97B7613-4C66-476A-BEED-10E6B4B13E5D.jpegBFE5ACE7-1FBD-422B-A8DE-543944162143.jpeg35708579-2398-4B0C-9E73-CDBDE59EF839.jpeg1E3CF218-0921-4E67-B030-0E75A870648F.jpeg72A37D9C-F8D7-46F6-8AB4-2E7B6C2DDD5D.jpegA8ECB235-839F-4AE8-B664-CFDC98097C3F.jpeg8A85F930-6125-4D49-B6C4-9C52966FFF2E.jpeg0D0C0C47-FBAD-44E7-AFCF-056EB203684D.jpegDA6CF38F-30D9-456D-A261-E99721B0D532.jpegE9CFDF91-2AE0-49C3-8DEC-AFF797B8079B.jpeg07226614-9475-44E3-8BA5-E37BCEEB72DC.jpeg

@PaulyB , any tips for those considering purchasing from copart? I see a lot of pwcs that I’d be interested in but most are outside of California, many in florida. I couldn’t justify spending $75 just to look at the one available locally.
