Hey guys and gals,
Recently there has been some speculation as to the relationship between Yamaha Corp and JetBoatPilot. While I'm flattered to think that some of you believe that we're at the level where a major outfit like Yamaha would want to do business with us, that is simply not the case.
Over the years I have made some great contacts with some of the engineers and leaders at YMUS. Because we're a big advocate for their products Yamaha allowed us to come see the new products at the rollout in San Diego this year. I was not invited. I invited myself and asked permission if I tagged along with a dealer buddy of mine. They were cool with the whole thing and allowed us to participate in all the events as if we were a dealer.
All in all we learned alot, and more importantly learned what needs to be adjusted this year with the changes that were made. That is the main reason we went. To get a jump on 2019 boat show season and to make sure that any surprises were found as early as possible.
Thanks again for those of you who believe in us and what we're doing. We're glad to be a part of this community and look forward to a great 2019 season!
