Yamaha Mooring cover question

Hi everyone so last year I bought a 2017 SX190 and got a free Yamaha mooring cover with it. Last year I trailered my boat so putting the cover on and off was easy, but this year the boat will be kept in a lift. Is the mooring cover possible to put on with the boat in the lift?

I have the towing/mooring cover on my 242 and keep the boat covered while it is at the slip at the lake all summer. You can easily use the cover while the boat is at a slip. The only hitch is that you'll need to step onto the swim step to secure the cover over the rear rub rail and attach it through the tow hooks on the stern. I'm the only one who walks on the cover and I only do it in bare feet. It doesn't seem to hurt the cover at all as I've done this on two boats and two covers over seven years.

Since you'll be on a lift, it may be easier to put the cover on the boat while it's down. Additionally, if you only have access to one side of the boat, then that'd be the side I'd adjust the ratchet straps from (leave the opposite side tightened down).
