I'm live from the Miami Boat Show to bring you a detailed look at the new Yamaha jet boat. I will post up pics and details at the launch.
@Murf'n'surf, I hope you don't mind. I am adding your additional info to your first post. My edits are in blue. Bruce
Here are Scott's initial photos. He will be climbing aboard after Yamaha finishes a video they are recording.
Notice the off-set swim ladder. The left hatch contains a large access hole into the bilge. The right hatch is storage and will fit a 5 gallon bucket.
Helm seat back pivots to allow forward and backward seating
Lockable storage box under the wheel. Lots of customizable space on the dash to install a chart plotter or other electronic devices.
Docking lights
New keel design to add stability and better straight line tracking
Gas tank access at the helm
Stainless steel ratchet enclosed in pocket that holds the canvas portion of the T-Top onto the frame with nylon webbing (same principle as our shipping covers)
Removable windscreen
Starboard side of the storage/head area in the console
Floor of storage/head area in the console
Right side of storage/head area in the console.
Port side fishing rod holders.
