If you don’t follow @thequalifiedcaptain on instagram you’re missing out. It’s a miracle we didn’t get on there last year after a launch “mishap.” Anyway I saw a Yamaha unfortunately made it today. When people get stuck at low tide it’s funny. This looked worse. Hope everyone was ok and it wasn’t anyone on here.F4C34768-17EB-473C-8360-D2D671E4C3C6.pngB626416C-426F-42E7-90AA-F948AC331422.png

Wow, my heart goes out to those guys, and yes hopefully no one was injured. Such a sad sight.?

How do you even get your boat into that spot? Was the water above the "rails" and they were tied off to the pilings? Were they going too fast and wedged it in there? I'm completely lost on how that might have happened.

I hated that video. Guy was zooming in and out, made me dizzy. But yeah, that sucks

We had a boat sink ages ago as the low low tide and improper mooring pushed the boat under and as the water level came up, the water went into the transom and sunk the boat. We were able to bail it out and save it, but it can happen with a big tide swing.
