We commonly see this rescue boat cruising around Lake Lanier. "Marine 1"

Luckily, most times we see it, they are just cruising the lake and not out there for a real rescue. They probably do not have a shortage of volunteers to go out on a nice summer weekend just to cruise the lake.

Not a bad idea for a rescue boat, considering it can get into all the shallows of Lanier to perform rescue ops. . . . .

Cherokee Fire here on the Cherokee side of Allatoona have a jet boat (not yamaha) and it can pump water through the jet nozzle into a hose for firefighting.
My department has a section of the Chatahoochie River so our boat is a very shallow draft hull with a Yamaha jet outboard.

Invite them to join us. I'm sure they could learn a little about their boat while we learn something about water safety.

That's so cool!! I have never seen a yamaha emergency boat! Most of our fire/rescue boats are Boston Whalers and the sheriffs use huge 25' triton/procraft fiberglass fishing boats (Lake Minnetonka)
