Bottom line up front: Can I buy a 2020 Yamaha 210 FSH Deluxe service manual and it be "close enough" for the 2021 boat I have currently?

I don't like waiting for the new service manuals to come out. Unsure when they usually do. Does anyone know, based on prior model year service manual releases?

I figured, based on what my dealer told me, that the 2020s vs the 2021s boats weren't that much different, essentially only paint is the difference. I'm not sure on this statement from the dealer.

I don't mind paying the money to have the service manual while I learn the boat. I just didn't want to waste my money on a 2020 service manual if it is going to be drastically different than the 2021s.

Not sure, but I would still wait. There is nothing you will need to do to a 2021 before the manual comes out that you will need the manual for. Oil changes, plug changes... Lots of info on these procedures in the FAQ here. I would do with that until the real manual comes out.
