First up great site !

I have decided to upgrade from my Yamaha XR1800 to an 2008 SX230 . I found a clean 230 with verified 75hrs . Excited to bring home . Put down deposit .
BUT have a potential problem i need help with .

The issue is I need to know if the 2008 sx230 will fit under 7' garage header ? The SX / AR About the same boat .
I have performed a few searches but have found some contradicting information .

I looked at the caster mod but still not sure . Height on he trailer I believe is 7'6" can anyone confirm ?

I appreciate any and all comments .
And yes should have done more homework prior deposit :)

Mine is not stored at the house, but I remember right mine was 7'-2" or 7'-3" on a 2" drop receiver hitch when hooked up to the truck. I thought I would use a dolly and just lower it off the hitch to get it in and out till I saw it in person. That thing is not my 17' Carlson closed bow v bottom boat. It is way too big for me to push around. HA. 3-sided boat storage barns look cheaper and cheaper when I finally got to that point.

I have my 07 sx230 in the drive way right now I'll measure it for you.

I am getting 7'6" but I just replaced my leaf springs and my driveway is not level.

Mine would not fit in 7 ft. I have an 8 ft header. Garage door sticks down a couple of inches. I have a couple of inches of clearance.

thank you all for the reply . Very much appreciated . Now I'm really starting to worry .
Anyone try the caster mod to trailer to get it to fit ?

thanks for taking your time to measure . 7'6 is what I was told . Do you know if it will fit under 7' standard garage ? Maybe with caster mod?

Mine takes 88” to the top of the windshield, on the trailer with wheels.
