The website is updated - FYI!

Nice, surprised to see a 21 ft limited. I like it.

Was kind of shocked to see the SS gone though.

It's basically just been rebranded as the 212 limited. Same boring graphics and color designs ;) just add in connext and a hefty price tag.

And remove the sleak low profile windshield. . . . .

Wife noticed it a couple of weeks ago. We just happened to go to the webpage and my jaw dropped. I like the new hull design for the 21's. I also noticed that they did away with the carpet and went to SeaDek.

And remove the sleak low profile windshield. . . . .

I don't recall the 2016 212SS I looked at the have a different windshield than the 212X we also looked at. I know the earlier 212SS's had a really low profile "windshield" but I thought they all shared the same windshield and coping later on (2010+) with the rest of the 21' lineup? Honestly I never liked that older "splash shield" on the old 212SS's. Too Miami Vice for my tastes lol.

That's correct from what I can tell. The 212ss wasn't done away with it just was rebranded as 212 limited. The new model is the 212 limited S which is a 212 limited or SS with a tower and no ballast.

The limited S comes in slightly cheaper than an AR240. Neither have a ballast system. I realize the fit and finish on the limited S is a cut above, but given the utility of the extra room I would go 24 hands down. Unless 21' is your max for whatever reason, I don't see any value in any of the 2017 212 lineup.
