so i finally decided I’d take a look at the 195 and I’m told it’s not available in Ca.
Anybody know if this is true?

Yes the 192 and 195 are not 4 star boats. You can get one at some CA dealers apparently but they are from out of state and go for a premium I believe.

Yup true. I was equally sad. Good news is you can get it in Arizona as a non-resident :)

I find it interesting it’s not carb compliant for Cali when their watercraft all pass Cali requirement and it’s the same 1.8 SC engine.

I can buy one in Oregon, not pay the sales tax and register to my home out there. Now, I just need to see how long I’m allowed to bring a boat from Oregon to California with no issues.
Of course this is IF I even like the boat.
Hmnnnn

I think it's fine. Register the trailer in CA. I guess I will find out soon enough, just picked up last week. Also if necessary it seems it is possible to register in CA just need to go through some DMV hoops.

I’ll be leaving the boat on my dock so I’ll just sell the trailer. If it needs to come out the local shop charges 40 bucks to pull it and take it on a 10 mile radius. Most repairs or servicing is easy to do on the water or lift.
It’ll be happy next to our Cobalt:-)
