So, I took the time and money to buy the products, review the products, create the videos, and in the process catch a lot of crap from various people. I did it to help the community with their own decision and I gave a fair and unbiased review for both companies and their products.

I was on the receiving end of an exceptional amount of ridicule from @Cobra Jet Steering LLC regarding my opinions, reviews, and ideas. However, my tests and opinions seem to be good enough for marketing.

Taking my video, editing it, blurring out my face, and posting it to sell your products without my permission or knowledge is bullshit. This is a serious dick move, @Cobra Jet Steering LLC

Oh, my bad, double dick move since there are two of them.

Add this to the long list of reasons why I will never buy product from @Cobra Jet Steering LLC

Regardless of whether or not his product is superior or inferior, this level of “professionalism” has given me zero desire to ever throw money his way.

So, I guess that means you are not interested in buying my slightly used Cobra Jet Magnum AK's with Mega Fangs? Bummer.

Where did he get the video? Did you flag it? I don't know the rules of youtube . I do know that plagiarism gets you kicked out of college

It's like he needs some kind of buffer for his interaction with other people. Like a sacrificial... Nylon bolt... or something like that.

Where is @Drift Away with his micheal Jackson eating popcorn gif when you need it lol.

Yes, I flagged both of them. At the time of me writing this, one has already been removed.

Now both have been removed.

I am going to bring people up to speed on something. I installed the JBP stuff when I first bought my boat. I liked it. Jeff being Jeff went on the rant of how his are better. So, I asked Jeff to give me a set if he was so confident and I would do a review and make a video. If I liked them, I would buy them. If not, I would send them back. He said no. He said he had videos already.

So, I bought them and did my tests. After the first test I kind of liked them. I spoke to @JetBoatPilot afterwards and he offered a refund even though it was beyond 30 days. (Thanks, Will. Very cool.) I declined since I wanted to do more testing. I was not dead positive yet since I had not tested them while doing maneuvers in hard currents in the ocean. After my first fishing trip with the Cobras I did not like them. First, the JBP stuff was better for me and my boat in currents. (Not a little better, exponentially better.) Second, I think the JBP stuff is safer. (The infamous nylon bolt tests.) So, I put the JBP stuff back on.

At this point I have a set of Cobras I am not going to use. I was also not going to ask for a refund because:

1. It has been more than 30 days.
2. I don't feel like being berated by Jeff some more.
3. I have had it up to here with JBP vs Cobra debates.

Whatever, extra junk in the garage now. Maybe I will try to sell them. No worries. Then I see these damn videos of me on YouTube with my face blurred out. WTF?

Considering the amount of heat directed my way by Jeff, I would have said no if he would have asked to chop the shit out of my videos, blur my face, and put them on his website. If he would have given a set to me for review, I would have made a video specifically for him demonstrating the benefits of his product that he could have put on his website. See how that works?

Damn I'm at a loss for words....

That's a pretty big dick move. He has patents on his stuff yet doesn't see the problem in stealing other people's shit? Wow

What an unfortunate set of circumstances.

I hate to say I've seen this type thing play out so many tines on enthusiast message boards I'm no longer surprised. I've even added the skill of "sniffing out the BS vendors" to my toolbox of Internet tricks.

The thread is early, but i cannot wait to anticipate what Jeff's response will be...

It will be sometime tonight around midnight. That seems to be the pattern at which the pot boils over.

Being an unbiased opinion and owner of neither; i have been in the market for fins and i have been watching/watched @Foobar videos and have found them to be very helpful and informative; I believe the topping on the cake has finalized my decision.

I would say it's unbelievable, but....

I'm sure he'll have something snarky to say about it, too.

This is unfortunate. I installed the CobraJet steering on my boat this past weekend. Its a great product, and the influence at high speed is noticeable for wakesports. It also lets me run my WakeWedge where my JBP thrust vectors did not, AND the lateral thrusters from JBP installed just fine. The other stuff is a bit unreal. However, I'm not giving up my WakeWedge or my steering, or my lateral thrusters... so I'll just stick my head in the sand.

You know, I can appreciate a guy that is rough around the edges because he simply speaks the truth without apology like Jeff always touts that he is doing. However in his case, more and more, it just seems to be some BS cover act. Where's the truth at the end of these cut videos stating that the guy that made the videos ultimately decided that JBP product worked much better for his boating needs? Resorting to using @Foobar 's videos to smear JBP products? How insecure is this guy? I actually decided that "always in the water" fins were best for my boating needs. With skiing and wake boarding I see the benefits of as much "at speed tracking" I can get. I'll be damned though if I didn't wish there was some other vendor offering them so I didn't have to give this guy my money.
