The SHO and SVHO use the same ribbon. The NA HO uses a smaller ribbon.

Only 2014 or 2015 used the smaller ribbon. Check your model number. Yamaha went back and forth on the intake manifold for 1.8n/a
I'll post details later or someone can fill in.

The Aquasport ring replaces the SMALL ribbon ( part# 6D3-1444B-00-00) only. They dont make the larger ring. 2013+ models use the small. 2012 and earlier use the large. Sorry should have mentioned this. We do state to include your vehicle info when ordering, so we can double check the fitment. For those looking for the LARGE ring you would have to use a different manufacturer.

On my 2012 VXR waverunner with the aluminum manifold it has a larger ribbon than my 2014 AR190, which has a composite intake manifold. I wonder if it's dependent on the intake manifold type (part #)?

I think they tried a different manifold in some models, but then went back to the larger one. I only realized that when talking to @1948Isaac in Bimini, he was explaining how he fixed his starter motor that fell off, and I noticed his manifold was different than my 2012 SX190.

I just looked up the oem part numbers for the ribbon on my 2015 FZS svho which is 6D3-1444B-00-00 and the ribbon on my 2016 ar240 is the same oem part number so we will soon see if the Aquasport ring works on my boat.....

What are you doing with a california model in ohio? .. but no the Aquasport are the small rings. Ill send you out the Worx.

Well, I bought it from a dealer in Minnesota and apparently Yamaha just sends out whatever models they have. So if they have a glut of CA models, other states will get them. Going back and forth with the dealer and Yamaha, there is no performance difference between the 2.

Just finnished installing my sleeves today, took about 20 minutes for both engines in total. Real easy with only 3 sockets used.
I will be taking boat out tomorrow and see how it performs

Amazing the engine can even breathe with this in there !!
