I have had my 165 for a few weeks now and find myself still having issues with loading the boat onto the trailer. Launching I am able to do by myself without issue, but loading it on by myself I find it very difficult to keep the boat aligned in the middle of the trailer. If I have 1 or 2 people with me its not an issue as they can hold the sides of the boat while I move forward until its resting on the trailer.
While I was waiting at the launch on Saturday I watched a guy load his Legend boat by himself, he simply backed the trailer in, pulled the boat over hooked the strap onto the bow hook and drove out. The trailer seemed to have some kind of side rails, so as long as the boat was between them, he knew as he drove up the ramp the boat would be in the correct position and level.
I don't know the proper name for those side rails, but is it possible to add them to the OEM Scarab 165 trailer? I think it would help me greatly.
