Hello, I have a 2005 AR230HO with a blown engine. I will attach the picture, but the second cylinder from the front has completely grenaded itself. I now need to replace at the very least the block including cylinder head, valves, crank case, crank shaft. SBT engines are fine with me but they are well over 3k and take 3 weeks before they even ship and I just don't have that time. I have a 2006 FX Cruiser HO that I could yank the engine out of but I hate to destroy a perfectly working ski.

My other option is to buy this engine off ebay for $2600. However, I'm not completely sure if it will fit. It is a "OEM Yamaha Jet Boat Engine for VX SPORT/DELUXE/CRUISER/ AR210/ SX210 (105hrs)" and based on the images on the SBT website corresponding to this engine, it looks exactly the same as the SBT engine corresponding to my 2005 AR230HO save for an oil outlet line which would not be a problem to modify.

If anyone has any idea if these motors are compatible that would be great. I'm also assuming that because I will be using the same electronics, intake, exhaust from my AR230HO I will not have electrical or power output compatibility issues. Please let me know if anyone has any insight on the fitment of these engines. Thanks very much!

Ebay Listing

Ebay listing description:
"This Yamaha Boat/Jet Ski Motor has been used for 105 hours and is in great condition. It is a genuine Yamaha product with the manufacturer part number FYIXM.054GE.
I bought a 2011 AR210 with two locked motors. I tore one motor down and needed to be replaced so I badly assumed I would need two motors.
The other motor was locked due to a locked jet drive and the motor ended up being good. The one motor I bought and installed in my boat runs great.
The person I bought from (located in Michigan) said it has only seen fresh water. Which is easy to believe since there is no salt water near him. The seller had a video of it running and it sounded great.
It will fit many PWC and boats from 2005 -2015. Please verify fitment before purchasing.
Will give a discount if picked up in person, just not pay first."
