Our rear grip assembly is missing one side of the mounting bolt and accompanying hardware. I went all through the rear and if it's in there loose I sure can't find it.

The issue is that when I went to order one, the mounting bolts don't seem to be available separately and come with the complete grip handle which is $100 on Boats.net and 90 days out even if I do order it.. It's a unique double ended bolt, the other side was loose and I was able to get it out to be able to match it up but I can't find one locally in the hardware store.

Does anyone have any ideas what I can do to find one of these in stainless to replace this one?

Sounds like what you need is what is called a stud (threaded on both ends), should be a common item but you will need to figure out if the threads are metric or SAE and what size they are. Most automotive supply stores have index cards that you can thread your existing stud or nut into/onto so you know what threads you have.

Thank you I didn't think of trying an auto parts place. Much appreciated!

Could also try McMaster Carr or boltdepot.com. Between the 2 you can find almost any hardware if you know the specs of what you need.

Threaded rod cut to length..... put a nut on the rod before you cut it and when you remove the nut it will straighten the threads.

Came in to say this.

Also, try your local mom-and-pop hardware store. The guys that have been in those places are a literal gold mine of information, and love when people come in with questions like "I know this sounds weird, but I need a thing that will do this, but I don't know what it's called". You'll find a solution for certain......or....they'll make you one!
