I've heard repeatedly that Yamaha believes surfing is a "fad" and won't pursue it. Kinda sad really, but at least it might help surf tab sales...

I think it's more of a liability than a question of weather is a fad.

Speaking of surf tabs, I heard good things about your tabs from Seattle show.

Yea sorry. I heard good things about their tabs from someone I know in Yamaha.

Yep, We got a lot of positive feedback from a lot of different companies and even a Yamaha Rep. Slingshot wake/surf boards, also a few other dealers. Really exciting because we are run of the mill average guys just having fun.

I don't think these guys need the Shark Tank. A well choreographed presentation of their product to Overtons will put their product advertisement into the mailboxes of almost every recreational boater in the USA.

True. I think what helps a lot of people on Shark Tank is just the advertisement of being there, whether they get a deal or not.

Indeed. Like the guy who pitched the by the glass wine that's in every gas station and store in Florida! He didn't take any deal from the sharks but used their platform to rocket into a successful business.

I have a feeling that even if pics were to get posted they would get taken down prior to their release. It's good to be in good standing with mother Yamaha, am I right @Julian ?

The press embargo ends at 7PM EST today. We will post pictures of all of the models, Julian's 15 minute review and lots of marketing info at that time. Dealers and a member who have seen the new boats will be posting as well.
