I have a 2017 Yamaha gp 1800 and it’s showing the check engine light on and code 161 on! I look up for that code and said that’s is the -Mslps 1 Main power open/ ground short. Does anyone knows what I can do or try?

I did everything look fine! But everting stayed when I plug the battery wrong, the negative on the positive and the positive on the negative! When I did that it burn one fuse and now it stay given power even if the jet ski is off
