Looking at an SX210 with the twin TR-1 engines. They rate at 230 HP. How do they handle with several adults in boat and pulling power at same time? Top speed is less than a AR195 which is not a concern as much as get up and go with load in boat and pulling. Anyone know the answer to the pulling power with people in the boat?

I have a 2017 AR210 with the same engine set up. The pulling power is not bad. If I have 4 people in the boat and me wake boarding getting up is no problem at all ( I am 5’9” and 195lbs). Now if I have the same amount of people and I am doing a deep water start with a double boot slalom ski it takes a bit of a pull to get up. It’s not bad, but not anything like a ski boat.

Lol... no kidding I must have seen the same question asked about 20 times already this season. This should be in the FAQ. lol. Anyways I have a 2018 AR210 and the power is just fine. It's not a rocket but it does everything you want it to do. I can go approx. 37 mph with 8 people on board. 42 with 3 people. Can pull and tube just fine. I think most of it is hype from dealers wanting to sell folks more boat than they need. If you are looking for a crotch rocket on the water.. this is not that boat but for the money and the amenities it offers, its a great family boat. Sorry I was smiling coz I really have seen this question asked too many times. Really 210's are great boats overall.

True story; The day I picked up my boat from the dealer, they literally convinced this new boat customer guy who wanted to buy an AR210 to instead buy 212X because they said 210's will be under powered for tubing. It is complete oversell and you can have the same memorable experience with your family for like 12 grand less lol.

I have a 18 SX210, I’ve noticed outside of when I have a full tank of gas and 6 or more adults on board there is no noticeable difference in power at all no matter what I’m doing. It’s a great boat overall
