Does anyone know of a device for syncing throttle levers of 2018-2019 Yamaha twin controls? @JetBoatPilot any plans for an updated model that fits these? I’m going to try some different pvc pipe sizes today, but that’s kind of a janky solution.

I don't (and almost posted a link to Will's product, but I see it doesn't fit these). Do you have a photo of the offending throttles? Might have some other ideas...

At the moment we do not have any plans to do an updated version but if that changes we Will post on this forum.

Yes, I do!

@Ridesteady !!

If you have those (APS - which you do):
94503
...it is a plug and play.

With the new firmware the R-S can synch your engines even when the unit is off (need it on with GPS tracking for water sports, or to adjust RPM for cruising).

CLosest thing to fly-by-wire while you still have the benefits of mechanical cable reliability. You will never go back!

EDIT: @Ridesteady may want to update your compatibilty list for Yamaha boats, I don;t see the FSHs on it!

@swatski i love the idea of Ridesteady and if we were into water sports heavily, then it would make more sense. As much as I love it, and think it’s a great amazing product, I don’t love it $1400.

Don't think of it as spending $1400... think of it as saving $20k on off an E-series model... ??

Hahaha. If only they had an E series FSH. Frankly though, for 20k more than I spent I’d be in a Robalo or NauticStar.

It's a great cruise feature , not just waters ports. With the new firmware update with a true rpm sync. It will be great. I say will be, because i will install my update before we hi the water tomorrow.

Exactly!

It's pricey but it is such a good system. I would want it even if I did not do any water sports.
If you ever hit rough water and find yourself struggling with positioning throttle binnacles exactly where you want them, or trying to make small adjustments to RPMs for best cruise, this system with the knob control and electronic syncing is honestly worth every penny.

Thanks for pointing that out @swatski ! For some reason, I can't find a way to edit that post. Perhaps it's too old? Perhaps I'm too old?

FSH boats are compatible, and they're listed on our website as such: Mechanical or Yamaha Jet Boat Throttle? | HYDROPHASE LLC

Thanks to everyone for the inquiries and kind words! :)

@Bruce Can we use “@“Administrative for these kinds of queries? I know there was a bug with that (or maybe not) at some point.

Yes, that tag works correctly now.

I will look at a way to extend the edit time on specific posts tomorrow.
