We were wake boarding the other day with the Bimini top on the tow rope was doing fine until it got stuck in the impeller the rope tension broke the rear long aluminum support bar to the Bimini.

So should you tow with rope on top of Bimini or below ?

now I was able to fix this by getting a smaller diameter piece of aluminum and then spliced them together pvc would have probably worked to

anyone else run into this
 
If you’re using a long rope for skiing or wake boarding, go above the bimini. If it’s a short rope for surfing, go below.
