I had been talking with the dealership that I bought it from about the issues also, and they made me a good deal because of the problems so I got a 2016 now. They're convinced it's just the impellers, but I know it's more then that. They know what it was doing, and Yamaha has some good deals on new boats in mid July, so couldn't pass it up.

Can you share what was your OTD? What kind of warranty were you able to get?
 
that's one of the difficult things of cavitation, it's hard to pin point the problem and can take a lot of trial and error,
