252X Break In Observations

So got a brand new 252X this week at Performance East in Goldsboro, NC. Couple thoughts from my maiden voyage today.

First, this thing tows much better that my 2010 AR240 on the MFI trailer. 2022 tandem axle Shorelander does a great job.

Steering tracks really well. I used to have to fight my steering but in calm waters I don’t even have to touch the steering wheel.

Break in sequence was super easy. 5 min at idle speed, 30 min at 5k rpm, and 1hr at 6k RPM. Fuel efficiency for the day was 2.1 mpg.

The table behind the helm is a great place to sit and supervise the teenagers as they learn to drive.

Throttle sync is freaking awesome.

Overall there isn’t a thing I don’t like about this boat. Not a single warning on the dash display and it’s super user-friendly.

Congratulations on the boat! Looks great! Saw your bilge was on in a couple pics. Did you notice it coming on regularly throughout the day?

Nope I never heard it turn on. Had about a half gallon of water come out the plug when I was done for the day.
