405,000 miles / I guess I'm happy with it, but not this post

My wife traded in her 2011 camry le with 212,000 miles and it still had the original Brake pads... only thing we ever did was change the oil, tires, and replaced one wheel bearing... I love my Tundra and the wife has a newer highlander Toyota for life...
 
with great sadness the decision has been made, It was hard separating the emotional attachment vs. the realistic view, I certainly understand how people with land end up with old stuff parked out in the field.

the junk yard is coming for it on Wed. There going to give me a whole $150. and sell it for scrap metal.

I think I'd rather pay someone 15o. to know they would keep using it.

That being said, life moves on, it was replaced with a 2014 Avalon with only 15k miles.
 
The day is quickly approaching when you will be handing them down to the kids. That is what we have been doing.
