A Day In The Scarab 195 HO Impulse

Just curious what your top speed is. I have a 195 HO Impulse too. I've gotten mine up to 40 -no passengers. I brought it in for 25hr oil change and the dealer seemed surprised when I told them that.

Welcome to the site Brian!

Before the 10 hour break in, you will only be able to do 30mph. After the break in period, your speed will vary on water conditions, and weight. Ive had mine up to 46mph by myself in glassy waters.

Glad to find a site with some other Scarab owners. Sounds like you get a little more speed than I do. RPM taps out about 7900 and just over 40. Like you said maybe 41 on glassy water.
