Guest, we are pleased to announce that Hydrophase Ridesteady is offering an extra $100 off for JETBOATERS.NET members on any Ridesteady for Yamaha Speed Control system purchased through March 7th, 2025. Ridesteady is a speed control system (“cruise control”) that uses GPS satellites or engine RPM to keep your boat at the set speed you choose. On twin engine boats, it will also automatically synchronize your engines.
It's hard to tell but word is definitely out to the kids....if they want to party and get nuts, Panama City isn't the place to do it. No reason to think this year won't be the same or even better than last.
Grayton beach state park is between panama city beach and destin and they have clean cabins w kitchen. Super quiet and great for families. Lots of bike trails on and off road and miles of beaches thats not crowded. Entertainment is mot far away if you want to go into town.
@ar240owner this is where you want to be. The stretch of beach communities along 30A is a GREAT place for families. Definitely worth looking into. We stayed in the Seagrove Beach area 2 years ago and rented a house across the street from the beach.
I also agree with @Big Shasta when he said that Panama City has calmed down a bit. I think last year (?) was the first year that they really cut down on the spring breakers. It is getting better. No more open containers on the beach, but I'm sure it can still get pretty rowdy. We were there a few years ago during spring break and I told myself that I'd never do it again. That's why we moved west to the 30A area.
30A is an awesome area!
I lived in the Panama City side, not the PC Beach side, two separate towns. In Panama City you wouldn't know it was spring break, until you got close to the bridge to PCB.
Like JetBotPilot said, Mexico Beach and Cape San Blas area is amazing for a quiet get away. I worked in Cape San Blas for the last few months I lived down there, I still miss the 45 mile drive to work.
