About to buy - question on slow speed handling

Pretty sure I know the answer, but it’s ok to drop the bucket and put the boat into reverse while traveling forward, correct? And if so, at what speed is it not wise to drop it in reverse, as it may cause the bow to drop and water over the front (Not talking about docking, just under normal driving conditions).

You're fine at any speed including WOT. Just tell everybody first.

We just bought the ar195s we trailer it around Beaufort Co,SC so lots of current, tides and wind. 3rd time out and I am feeling pretty confident approaching the dock, and still nervous when approaching the trailer, but confident i’ll get it down. I’m learning to work the throttle with steering. I was thinking about fins, but at this point I really don’t think I want them. I have no issues in reverse, also remember always dock against the current/wind. Speaking of which, I think i’ll zip up the Bimini before going back to the trailer, seems like the wind may be catching it and throwing me off, anyone notice if that helps?
