What would you recommend for my SX230HO and how much would it cost for enough for an oil change?

you can use either oil in this bulliten. https://www.amsoil.com/lit/databulletins/g2133.pdf I use the WCT 10W-30 in my non HO. You can stay with Yamaha filter. I think it runs about $10.13 qt. Depends on how much you drain, usually about 3 per engine. I always get 7-8 then i have and extra or 2 for backup. Or you buy less next time. if you go to the online store, under product code just put in WCT or WCF and it will pop up. Also check out the synthetic grease (GWRCR-EA) perfect in Trailer bearings applications.
You will want the 14oz grease cartridge

Amsoil is the one constant in all my engine maintenance. I use 10w40 in the boat (can't remember why vs 10w30), and for the 1.8l an EA15K51 is the correct filter. I bought 4 quarts last oil change and this time I getting 3 (single engine).
