2008 SX230!

Did my insulation in an hour. Kept it quick, simple and inexpensive, 2" acoustical foam, Gorrilla Glue spray adhesive and 3M 90 spray adhesive.

I had so much left over, I added a second layer on just the main piece by mating the points of two panels together. Basically, to see if it worked. I skimmed the posts and I don't see where anyone else has done this.

Wow, wow, wow, huge difference. Need to clean it up a bit but the little lady was happy at how much more quiet the boat was. Cruising at 7k rpm and we could talk normal and listen to music without blasting it.

I will take some decibel readings when I can. Our fireworks cruise was so much more enjoyable.

Now, how long will it last?
